I like the looks of the CaseIt bag best of the two, but the real question is what do you plan to use it for?
I have something of a bag fetish and in my experience, cheap ones don’t hold up under hard use. So depending on how you intend to use it, you might consider spending a little more for a bag that can take a little punishment.
If you want a seriously manly bag, check out the offerings from Maxpedition… 😉

I can’t find the post where you talked about that runners gel stuff you used to give you energy on a run, but I seem to recall you saying you had a hard time finding it? (My memory is sketchy on if you couldn’t find it to buy it or if you bought and then misplaced it ) but in case it was you can’t find where to buy it they sell it at Dick’s sporting goods. Power Gel I think it was. Bob just picked up a couple of packets to take on our longer hikes and he made me try it. I think he thought I was going to keel over and die yesterday. Boy does that stuff ever work. I only had a couple of little tastes of it, not a whole pack of it, it was like giving Popeye a can of spinach! I passed him on the trail and nearly ran the last 1/4 mile back to the car. I might pick up a couple of packets of that stuff for the future hikes, but it’s kind of hard getting past the texture of it…it’s kinda….well, I just have to not think about it…anyway, try Dicks sporting goods.

(sorry to post this on the wrong post)
Don’t buy a bag…I have a cute pink camo sling backpack you can have! *grin*
Are you taking votes or just sharing your shopping prowess. I like the messenger bag better.
BTW thanks for the hint on the Trance 5. I wore then Sunday for their inaugural voyage and they felt good and you can’t beat the price.
