This Week’s Theme: Wrinkle

I hunted this picture down in my backyard and I did it this morning too! The leaves have wrinkles in them, but when I first saw this first sign that Autumn is on it’s way, is ‘wrinkle in time’. It’s kinda out there, but… well, so am I. Have a Great Week!

This Week’s Theme: Colorful

This Little Guy (didn’t research WHAT it was) we found in our yard this past week. Since I knew that this week was COLORFUL, I decided that he’d (it might be a she or might be an ‘it’) be this week’s submission. I’d love to know what this color fuzzy caterpillar, and color me tickled yellow pink if someone finds out. Have a Great Week!

This Week’s Theme: Clouds

This week I am in Dallas and so I prepublished this earlier in the week. Thankfully, this week’s theme, I had plenty of choices from my archive to post, especially since I missed last week. Although I don’t like to post archived pictures, I just didn’t have time.

For this week, instead of posting a picture of the high flying clouds, I thought that I would post one of the low variety. This was taken last fall here in Knoxville TN using my Point and Shoot camera as I was in the car at the time.

This Week’s Theme: What IS That?

So just what IS that? If you put you mouse cursor over the picture, you will see that it’s actually 2 things: First the orange “cave” is my new laptop carrying care and Second, the “creature” is just my iPod nano with an iFrogz that makes it’s look like a MONSTER.

This Week’s Theme: Support

Disclaimer: This is not my kid.

I was having a really difficult time thinking of an idea for this week’s theme of Support. In fact, this picture was hunted on Saturday the 12th at a Child’s Birthday. When I was thinking of support, I couldn’t really come up with a good idea for it. This was taken at The Little Gym for one of the Kids’ Friend’s Birthday Party. Here we can see the support that the bar has to keep the kid suspended in air. Also, there is his strength of his muscles that supports him in being able to maintain this position.  Have a Great Week!

June 28’s Theme: Bright

This picture was taken (i.e. Hunted) on Friday June 27th at a wedding that we attended at Panther Creek State park near Morristown TN. This view is taken on top of the overlook near where the outdoor ceremony was taken. This is the also the backdrop for the wedding pictures.

This Week’s Theme: Pointed

I had help from My Lovely and Talented Wife in this week’s picture. This was taken at our Town’s Fourth of July parade on Friday, I told this week’s theme and she held this out for me… absolutely BRILLIANT!

This Week’s Theme: Water

I was traveling most of this week and did not have time to go out and ‘hunt’ a water picture. This one is from my archives, taken this past March just as the Season Cycle was moving around to Spring. The creek is 2nd Creek if you are familair with Knoxville and this creek empties into the Mighty Tennessee River

This Week’s Theme: Emotion

Here is The Younger exhibiting a disgusted or angry emotion. The Younger and The Elder are such different creatures, The Elder has difficult showing emotion but The Younger can go through a gambit of emotions in about 5 minutes. Don’t worry, what ever he was pouting about was soon forgotten.

This Week’s Theme: Bad Hair

This week’s Photo Hunter’s Theme is Bad Hair. I thought that I would again tie in last week’s theme (SELF) with this week’s theme as this is a picture of me.

I had originally wanted to take a bad hair picture after my trail run on Tuesday. However, that didn’t happen. So, this pictures is from Friday after a “brick” workout. I swam 400 meters with a swim cap then I got out of the pool and put on my shoes and socks. I then ran 1.1 miles around campus. This was taken just minutes after finishing the run in the locker room (before a well needed shower).

This Week’s Theme: Self

This week’s Photo Hunter’s Theme is Self or at least “part” of you. I really wasn’t in the mood to do a self-portrait and I don’t have my studio set up in the basement anyway. So, what I thought that I would do is tie-in last week’s picture (SHOES) with this week’s picture.

Here’s a picture of my legs and if you can get past the blood, you’ll notice my Vitruvian Harmony Shoes which were the highlight of last week’s hunt. This picture was taken this past Tuesday after my Forks of the River Trail Run, which you can read about my non-encounter with wild boars and the vicious attack on me of a fallen tree, hence the bloody knee. If you are not bleeding after a trail run, you didn’t run hard enough.
