But, over the past month, I have had some alternate uses for them… worth sharing, I think:

1) In a pinch, they can be used to stop nose bleeds

2) Going back to their roots, they make decent sorting containers for recycling

3) You can fit Six 1/2 Gallon containers of Soy Milk and don’t have to worry about a thing

4) The Local Grocery Kid will cram 6 plastic bags worth of groceries to fit into your 2 fabric bags

5) They wash well in the washer and dry well in the dryer, See #1

6) The Insulated one does NOT make a good cooler for ice and drinks

7) They are a great laundry hamper when you are on the road

[Written Friday when stuck in Atlanta]

Sitting here in Marietta’s Red Roof Inn, I have The Weather Channel playing in the background listening to the news on Hurrican Ike. Last night they had the yummy Stephanie Abrahms on there and this morning it’s the hunky-stud Jim Cantore. Either eye-candy is saying that Ike is going to cause big water problems (and this time with short sea walls, not strained levies).

Anyway, while playing in the background on a soft volume (because I was tired of hearing the same stuff over and over again while Ike moves slowly to the coast), my spidey-sense started to tingle and I heard a commercial for this:

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Shiny! I could always use the Seinfeld “It’s EUROPEAN!” since they are kinda girly. And if I am going to wear anything girlie… it better be PINK!
