I use Blaine's tying method for my shoes and don't have any problems. I also have some New Balance shoelaces that are strange. They are not the same diameter throughout the lace. They have little bulbs on them. Makes them harder to untie. Sounds like a good time even though experiencing a "wardrobe malfunction." It may have also saved you from killing yourself and making it hard to finish the next race well.

Well, when it rains, it pours. 3 shoelaces coming untied — that is insane!

I really wish you could have gotten one of those trophies. No one would appreciate one more than you!

Still, though, you have to envision my jaw dropping when I see 7:59 for mile 1. That is lightning fast!!!
