This Week’s Theme: Narrow

Well, let’s start off with the fact that it’s almost Sunday, so I narrowly got this picture posted in time. I was really at a loss for what to post this week with the “narrow” theme. This picture is from this morning and as soon as I saw the sky, I knew this was the picture I wanted to use. Not only is the color in the sky a very narrow bandwidth on the electromagnetic spectrum. All visible light falls in a wavelength range of the approximately from 380 nm to 740 nm (or 0.00000149 inches to 0.000000293 inches). Also the time frame to witness such beauty is also very narrow as well seeing that 30 minutes later, this scene was gone!

You weren’t the only one who was late today. Beautiful colors. Who knew about the bandwidth?

Haha well this is certainly a different take on this weeks theme, it truly is a wonderful photo. I love sunsets, or rises, or just the sun, lol.

Wow — that’s an extensive look at the word “narrow.” lol Great idea! And a really beautiful photo, too. ;o) Have a great week!
