I foresee a very, very good race for you tomorrow! I admire the fact that you are willing to go to a “desolate” course and not even take your own cheering section!
I had lunch with a friend yesterday who has decided (with my urging) to train to walk the Little Rock Half Marathon. She couldn’t believe how important crowd support is when I told her just that, plus the fact that having your name on your shirt or bib helps tremendously. So for that I am in awe of you, Mr. Battlefield Marathoner!
