Although I have been in frequent person who rides a bike, primarily in sprint triathlons. Today, I think I made the transition up to cyclist.

1) I got some road rash (not alot) on my left shin from a fall today.

2) I had a motorist honk at me as I was sharing the road.

I think the only thing left is to ride a century and have something physically throw at. The day isn’t over for the latter.

Today, I brought my car into the shop to get some work done on it. The place that we take it to is about 10 miles away from where I work, so I dropped the car off early and biked into work. It took me 46 minutes to ride the 9.75 miles into my office. Since Knoxville’s streets are not that bicycle friendly, there were a few times that I had to get off and ride the bike. All in all it was pretty good. In fact, I have to get to the bus so that I can get home.
