Finally, mother nature has fixed her “spring to summer” control for Knoxville. It seemed that her Winter to Spring control was on the fritz and it got a little ahead of it’s self. Then, when clearly in Spring, it reverted back to winter like conditions. Today we are experiencing our second 80+ day in a row. You know what this means? Warm, soft Toostie Rolls in the car after work…

I can’t say that alot has happened this week. I can sure type it, but not say it. I have been experiencing small successes all week long. Most of the small tasks that have been keeping my brain full and cluttered have been getting the “Finish” mark in my day planner. It’s almost like a real burden being lifted on my shoulders. Now, this means that more timely tasks can be added but now I am gearing more to the present and future and not the past. It’s like I have been kicking the butt of my inner procrastinator. Sure, we all like to eat that last couple scoops of ice cream when the laundry is crying like a stood-up prom date, just begging for a little attention. I can’t say that it 100% effective so far, but it has been helping.

I’m pretty much in the same health state that I have been in… Recovering from the Rub and contesting territory with a cold. It’s been 25 days since I last ran… *sigh*. More than likely I will start back working out on Monday. I am thinking about swimming on Monday or at least laying out by the pool if I don’t!

I'm a husband, father and runner in the Knoxville area. I love the way that running makes me feel and how it has changed my thinking. I am always looking for the new PR whether in the 5k or the marathon
