Knaves or maybe Thinking Christmas

” Like the butcher, the baker, the candlesticks maker,
He’s a maker, a breaker, and a title taker.
Like the little old lady who lived in a shoe.
If cuts were kids, he would be to.
I’m not lying, y’all, he’s the best I know,
and if I lie, my nose will grow
like the little wooden boy named Pinochio,
and you all know how the story goes!”
-RUN DMC

Okay, I don’t have time to go get a poll plugin for WordPress and set it up. But I have a question…

I like to bake, truth be told. I’m no Martha Stewart, but I got a kick out of Saturday Night Live’s Topless Martha Stewart Christmas Sketch.

So, this Christmas it’s time for me to do some super mad baking. Typically, I make a ton of stuff of delectable goodies that sometimes goes as gifts. Really, I should just duct tape them to my stomach because that’s were they end up.

So, here is my question: We have a Christmas Party this Friday and we are bringing some sort of dessert. I have wanted to make a gingerbread house of my house, so I could bring some cookies, but I don’t have time decorate them… but I could still bring naked gingerbread men and women.

So, there is also something Chocolate related. I can either make Reese PB clone bites or Truffles. If I make truffles, then I will probably make a couple different flavors. So what should it be…

1) Gingerbread Cookies

2) Truffles

3) Reese style Peanut Butter candy

4) 2 of the above (You Chose)
And to solicit some responses from those who are lurking… whoever leaves a comment by say Wednesday Midnight will be put in a “hat” (read: Excel) and I will “pick” (read: run a formula)a winner. The winner will get some of the spoils of my labor. You will have to either drop by or send me your mailing address. Fair enough?

” [Terry]’s a winner, not a beginner.
His pocket is fat, other get thinner.
Jump on [Terry] like cows on moons,
People take [Terry] like dish and spoon.
And like all fairytales end,
You’ll see [Terry] again my friend!”
