So let me just update you all as much as I can right now. Today, Monday, I was busy trying to get the address list for the American Samoa project that I will be on for most of November. We had asked for a business list so that would could mail our forms prior to our arrival on the island. But NOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooo… they didn’t get us one. So, yours truly, decided to make a little magic of his own. I took our list from 2004, which was a list from 2001 and used a 2003-04 phone book to “edit” the list a little. TOmorrow I will send out 348 forms to American Samoa for our trip. That’s what I was busy with all day today. I read no blogs.
You can add Michaeal from A Boy and His Bike to the list of Masking Tape List of Honor on the bag… The bag, need to come up with a cool name for the bag.
Have you noticed that there hasn’t been much about running on this blog. Part of that has been that I have been busy. Another part of it is that I have not done a lot of running. I do owe the Phedippidations World Wide Half Marathon report, which the deadline is tomorrow… oh, am I a slacker race director and haven’t reported anything yet… I was originally going to submit an audio report, but I was having a hard time keeping it short… you know me… So, I decided to Axe the report, and then I didn’t get the time to write. Ugh. I have to do that tomorrow, sometime. I’ll figure something out.
I ran on the 7th, then the 11th and then today the 16th… not a lot of running. I am pleased to report that today’s run was still pretty swift, 7:57, 7:59, 7:48 and 8:01. I thought that I might be a little slower. I don’t really have anything in the plans for races, other than Autumnfest 8k (Thanksgiving) but we’ll see. The weather here is really becoming ideal for running. Today was the first day that I ran with a long sleeved Cool Max shirt and I even scored a technical shirt at Sam’s for a great price. Of course, now I need to fix my workout bag with colder weather clothes.
Oh yeah… and R.I.P. to the Canon S45. Even though batteries.com got the battery to me in half the time promised, the camera did nothing. So, we are down to one working digital camera and we still have 3 35mm cameras. I could take one of my Cameras that are slotted for eBay to my Camera Arsenal. I will need a small camera to take to American Samoa… which was my Dimage x20 main duty in 2004. I was thinking about getting the Polaroid 3 megapixel camera from Target… I don’t need anything super nice and I don’t want to pay a bunch of $$. I also thought about getting another x20 or a x31 but their construction doesn’t really fit my lifestyle… oops.
Hopefully, I can get some good comments and schtuff written tomorrow…
