Free iPod

One of my Running Buddies and frequent commenter needs your help. Okay, he really needs your money, but I promise you IT IS FOR A GOOD CAUSE! See, he's running the Florence Marathon… that's not Florence Alabama or Florence Arizona or Florence Colorado or Florence Indiana or Florence Kansas or Florence Kentucky or Florence Massachusettes or Florence Missouri or Florence Mississippi or Florence Montana or Florence New Jersey  or Florence Oregon or Florence South Carolina or Florence South Dakota  or Florence Texas (which is the biggest because it's in Texas) or Florence Vermont or Florence Wisconsin not even NEW Florence Missouri or NEW Florence Pennsylvania. Nope, it is THE Florence! Florence ITALY, which I know isn't spelled Florence over there but I am a snooty Americano and I will say Florence as my Chef Boyardee spews out of my mouth.

is running the Florence Marathon as part AIDS Program with Whitman-Walker Clinic. What this means is that Greg raises money to support the Whitman Walker Clinic and they, in turn, support him and get him over to and into the Firenze Marathon.

Now Greg is no stranger to marathoning, for the past 5 years Greg has been running marathon and now that I think about it… Greg's weekly journal about his first marathon was the first blog that I ever read and followed. That was before I knew what a blog was… You can read about Greg and his marathoning progress on his running website

So what the hell does this have to do with a Free Ipod… uh, lots. To help invigorate his fund raising campaign, he has decided to raffle off a brand new iPod! He is selling tickets on his website and you can pay through paypal, so it's painless. The information that you need is all right here.

Okay, there is a catch… and it's my fault. The donations need to be in by tomorrow the 16th for the iPod, if you want to donate after that PLEASE BY ALL MEANS DO IT! I know, I know… I am a slacker for not letting people know sooner. But look at it this way… you'll know on Thursday if you have an electronic gadget to listen to my future podcast… right?

See ya, errrr I mean Ciao!
