My desk is a mess… there are wires and manuals and empty Diet Coke containers strewn all over my desk. Each are a little sentence in what has happened today. Don't forget the microphone or the half-full water bottle and I see my date planner and a bunch of other crap. Yes, just crap.

I ran 3 miles today at lunch. I felt okay during the run. It was 86 degrees on the Big Board (I will need to talk a picture) and I was strapped with my heart rate monitor plus my new podcasting tool. I was able to capture about 17 minutes of audio until (as far I can tell) my microphone decided to enter in a bunch of static! Bleh. So now that I have a core material for my first beta episode, I need to edit and run it through post-production.

I felt pretty goofy talking while running. I guess I will have to get over that fear, expand my comfort zone now won't I?

Currently, I am trying to get my slow ass work computer to recognize my Canon S45 which  took to the MArathon Press Conference. Go figure that it didn't recognize it right off the bat, so I install some older canon software here ZoomBrowser 2.6 and that didn't work, so the new and improve ZoomBrowser is being install right now. I want to get a photo album of the press conference up in thenext hour or before I leave for work.

I have more to post today, but, I have pictures that I need to edit and process as they are part of posts.

Today was the first day of Eric at his new school. More on that at the family blog.

I guess I had less to blog about than I thought.

on a laptop note, I am still looking for that perfect laptop. I think I have narrowed it down to a couple, but we'll see if I ever get around to getting it. I really should because since I have a wireless network set up in the house, it would in my best interested to not be tied down to the basement especially if I am looking for computer deals, reading your blogs or doing some else, whatever that might be…

So, here are my split times for today at lunch. I was all into the podcast and talking that I forgot to hit the watch at the mile 1 marker. No big deal really…

I'm a husband, father and runner in the Knoxville area. I love the way that running makes me feel and how it has changed my thinking. I am always looking for the new PR whether in the 5k or the marathon
