Guess what I have

I have SPLIT TIMES! Courtesy of ! And so, I could tell that I was running a little fast the first two miles, pretty close to my 5k pace. Actually I think that I could have sustained a 7:45 for 3 miles easily and if in race conditions, I probably could have done the 7:40 pace or maybe a little faster. This tells me that my speed is coming back! YAY. And now that I have a functional watch for a little while (greg, I DO plan on returning it) that I can check out some of my interval times (400 meter, 800 meter, etc) and see how I am doing there. Maybe later this week.

Today, I am going to swim. It's supposed to be in low 90s all this week, so if I run today or tomorrow, it's not going to matter. So swim today and enjoy the sun, scenery and cool water.

I now leave you with this, a gift of splits. Oh, you want the banana kind… maybe later, maybe never.

If the table looks funky, it's Deep Sender's fault… it looks crazy while I am creating this post. But it's much more convienent, though

I'm a husband, father and runner in the Knoxville area. I love the way that running makes me feel and how it has changed my thinking. I am always looking for the new PR whether in the 5k or the marathon
