I think that I have come to grips with the 3.5 mile course around campus. I'd like to get a 4 mile course as well. This way I have a little variety to chose from since I already know distance down on the greenway and can make 2 mile, 3 mile, 4 mile and 5 mile courses easily. ANd I know that if I go to market square, that's 3.86 miles (okay, that may need a little work), but to keep it close to the aquatic center would be a nice choice to have especially on days of threatening rain.
Today's workout was indoors, on the bike. I almost didn't even go, thinking that I would hang out at the desk instead. Well, a couple of errands probably would have been a better choice than NOT working out… I ended up going to the T-recs building and getting on the bike. My MP3 player needs to be refreshed. I need the new episodes of Runcast Weekly and Dump Runners' Club. Phedippidations won't be available until Thursday. What I did have was the first CD of Joel Osteen's Your Best Life Now. I listened to that for my 24 minute, 9 mile bike ride. Needless to say it was a revitalization of the body AND mind.
