Monday's workout

So for today's workout, I tried to fine tune a running route. I took Thursday Part A running route and added a little extra in hopes that I could make the 3.48 mile run closer to 3.50 miles, as IF rounding wasn't okay in this case. I HATE that Google maps GPS lists mileage that accurately, it kills the scientist in me there is a differenct between 3.48 and 3.50. UGH! Things were easier when the resolution of running mileage was much more sloppy… 3.48 miles… sheesh. So, I added a short detour at the end of the run into a parking lot to hopefully lengthen the run that precious 0.02. Well, it ended up being 0.06 longer which made the run 3.54 instead of 3.50. Of course, I understand that my clicking on the map is not the same as the route I actually run, only a portable GPS would give me that precision. So, I think I have an adjustment that I can live with to make that a standard 3.5 mile run. So, total I live with the guilt of 3.54 and that's okay.
