Quick and Dirty…

OKay here is a short race report… I will have a novelette in a few 😉

On the HARDEST marathon course I have run to date, I managed to plow through to a 4:21:44 finishing 293 out of 541 finishers. The cut on my face did look pretty cool and will include a picture of it when I get photos online. I think it was a scab that just disappated during the sweating.

What I am most excited about is that I did not walk any part of the marathon. This doesn't mean that I didn't stop, because I did stop and stretch and change clothes. When I was experiencing the lows of those mini “walls”, mentally I told myself to get keep going… that's why my morale was still high when I was falling apart in those last miles.

I remember now why I love marathons…
