I don't get it… I was monitoring my foot when I walked up to the aquatic center to workout today. I could step on the curb where my foot was injured and sure enough, I could feel the pain in my foot.
That was until i got into the pool. Once I got into the pool, the pain went away. Whatever space aliens were in my foot… they did not like chlorinated water. I even tried to poke, prod and twist my foot around to see if anything was painful. Not even jumping off the pool floor was enough to find any pain.
My foot is currently wrapped right now and I have to really flex and stretch my foot to feel any pain. I took off my shoe (stinky!) and couldn't find anything. Of course my NOSE is now injured… bleah…
I probably will still take ibuprofen in a little will as a proactive means of controling the pain, but I can't feel anything noticeable.
As for my swim, I only went 400 meters. I didn't even time the entire workout, I concentrate more on form than anything else. I will have to get back into swimming form for the summer and especially for the Trideltathon that is coming up soon!
Will keep you all informed about the foot.
