Troy Update

As told by fraternity brother Chris Hill:

Hello all. Hope things are well. Troy is doing much better…still a long way to go but better. He is more alert than he has been and is slowly gaining his strength back. He is going to rehab at Auburn Hill rehab facility in Mt Home AR during the week and he gets to come home to our house on the weekend. The rehab spot has learned of his stuburness and is working with it very well. They have started him walking again short distances and he, in the past couple of days, has tried to start walking around without there help and has managed to give himself a couple of scars over each eye. Around 7-8 stiches over each eyebrow. Which is not as bad as it sounds. Just shows he is now motivated to get back to the form that he was before the accident and he does not want to sit around and wait. Typical Troy. We have been kicking around the idea of setting up an account in his name for donations but like you guys are trying to find out the legal limit. I have heard 2k, 5k and 10k. As soon as the wife hears back from a friend in that department I will forward the message. We are planning to get him an IPod for his B-day (which is Superbowl Sunday). His favorite team is the Steelers so pull for em if you are not a Seahawks fan. He has grown fond of my wifes Ipod and she has done a little research and evidently music is good for people with head injuries, helps to motivate them during rehabbing other than that he is pretty tight lipped about wanting or needing anything else of course that is Troy to the T never asking for help. Anywho that is the long and short of it.
