6 o'clock on the swatch watch

I actually borrowed the Title from a comment that I had left on another blog. That song is just so infectious… Ooooooooohnooooooo. But not as catchy such as “I like big butts and I can not lie…” Come on Friends fans… even Emma smiled at that song.

The reason for the title was that I had (s)watch problems today. Ugh! I have no idea how far I ran or what time. I do know that mile 2 to 3 was 8:13… which is not what I was expecting, but it's blessing. If you look at the training that I laid out a couple of days ago, you will see that I do not get a reprieve from what I should be running until March 5. So, I need to really be watching myself these midweek runs. I need to be performing on my speed work and long distance runs and these mid week recovery/tempo runs need to be easy or easy perceived effort.

I ran 4 miles today with Beer Boy. I think this was Beer Boy week or something! Sheesh… nah really… it was a good run. I think we ran 8:15 average pace for 4 miles or something like. You make the call.

I'm a little shocked that I don't have any comments on my “introgalactic planet3rry” post from yesterday… what's up with that. Where are my 2 fave commentors? Hellllllllo. I need feedback for reassurance and acceptance. Nah, not really… I need constructive critism for my work so I know what to attack first on my next Vlog. So Ch-Ch-Ch-Check it out!

About planet3rry

I'm a husband, father and runner in the Knoxville area. I love the way that running makes me feel and how it has changed my thinking. I am always looking for the new PR whether in the 5k or the marathon
