Hear my voice

Would you like to hear my voice? I can't say that I have the most manly deep, “hellllo baby” voice in the entire world. In fact, when nervous, I can sound down right… womanly. It is not uncommon to be called Ms. Higgins on the phone. I used to get upset when it happened. Now I use it to my advantage. Typically, if I call the person on that I am “No, in fact, MR. Higgins”, I can gain superiority and generally have an easier time with my problem especially if it's a customer service related problem.

The best is when I don't call them on being a dude and refer to my wife Jennifer. That sometimes throw them for a loop. And if I ever make the mistake of getting the incorrect gender on the phone, I don't care… because I understand.

Anyway… here my voice. If you are so inclined on hearing what Planet3rry sounds like, you can go to
http://www.steverunner.com/ which is the home of my favorite Podcast and give it a listen, it could become yours too. You don't have to be a runner to appreciate the life lessons that Steve talks about in his podcast. In fact he might use his Jedi Mind trick and you will become a runner (these are not the droids your looking for…). Listen to (by clicking the link) or download episode #025 called “Revolutions and Resolutions”. It's right there on the main page, so you can't miss it. I would encourage you to listen to the whole podcast, but if you don't you can find me around the 26:14 mark. I made two Phedippidations promos for him as Christmas Presents and he was kind enough to include one of them in the episode.

Who knows, even I might have a knack for a podcast. Perhaps when I retire, which may be sooner than later, more on that soon!

About planet3rry

I'm a husband, father and runner in the Knoxville area. I love the way that running makes me feel and how it has changed my thinking. I am always looking for the new PR whether in the 5k or the marathon
