Ivy the poison kind

I have Poison Ivy. And for those of you who know me and Poison ivy, we don’t get along very well. I have been taking Zyrtek and that has been doing a great job. Congratulations to the USA soccer team yesterday morning in their 2-0 defeat of Mexico, I hope that they bring their best game to the pitch on Friday against Germany.
Work, work, work. I will be in Oklahoma at least twice in July along with a another project scheduled for the end of the month. So, I will be out of town for most of July… YUCK YUCK YUCK. I need to stop all this traveling crap

Sleep

The theme for this past weekend was SLEEP. Jen and I celebrated most of our anniversary by catching up on our sleep by napping Saturday morning and afternoon. Jen P went to bed early that night but I stayed up to watch the hockey game that went into 3 OT periods (yikes!). We had a good Anniversary and look forward to many more. Sunday, we went to The Cove with my Mom, The Velases and their friend from Germany Wolfgang. It was a blast and got to ride the Velas’ Sea-Doo! Fun Fun Fun
On another note, my trip to Pennsylvania has been put on hold due to some problems with the company that owns the waste. So that means I will be here in June! YAY! I might have to do other project, of course, but most likely they will be shorter in duration and also during the week.

Skip

We are babysitting a dog for a week. Since last Friday, we have been watching over a 1.5 year old Jack Russell Terrier named “Skip”. So far it has been great. He is well behaved, lovable and best of all crate trained. Now we have had to keep him and the ferrets separate because we fear the worst should Skip become aggressive with the babies. I was in St. Louis this past Monday for work. The whole project took about 30 minutes at the most but the whole trip turned out to be a 15 hour day! Yikes.

Our Anniversary on Saturday, 6 years, WOW!
